Social gatherings
St Nicholas Church Social Committee are meeting to put together some fantastic social events through 2024. Please keep an eye open for news when it is posted. One thing we can announce is the return of the Christmas Tree Festival during December. Dates have yet to be confirmed. This year we will welcome the Allerton Brass Band to open the Tree Festival with another wonderful Christmas Concert. Details of opening times will be made available in November. If you would like to have your own tree to decorate for the Festival please don't hesitate to get in touch. We buy all the trees from our supplier and then pass the cost on to those who are decorating their own tree. In January 2025 we will be performing that well know and much loved pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk. We will of course be putting our own slant on it so come along to have fun, join in the singing, and spend a very enjoyable evening togther at this family friendly show. Sadly we will not be performing a matinee show in 2025 so each of the three shows will begin at 7.00pm. The actual dates of the shows are Thursday 23rd January 2025, Friday 24th January 2025, and Saturday 25th January 2025. Tickets will be on sale via our digital newsletter and via this website from September 2024.
