Window Restoration Project

We are having to undertake a significant Restoration Project to preserve the Window donated to St Nicholas Church by members of the Harrison Line Shipping family c1915 in memory of Frederick James Harrison who, with his brother Heath Harrison, funded the building of St Nicholas Church.

We will also replace fragile and eroded masonry which is a primary cause of concern regarding the security of the window.

Do you want to help us to find the £100,000+ needed to restore the large window which faces the sea? So far we have managed to set aside £36,000 from our reserves but more help is needed if we are to progress the work.

Donations can be made by cheque to 'St Nicholas PCC' but please indicate on the back that the donation is for the Window Restoration Fund.

Bank transfers can be made to account number 81432729 sort code 40 45 14 description PCC Wallasey St Nicholas with All Saints . Please identify any bank transfers as 'Window Restoration Donation'

From September donations can be made via our website, please click here .

Thank you for taking time to help. We will post news updates as and when anything happens.
